Ethan founded Ovantage Tax to fix what he saw broken in traditional tax services: too much focus on compliance, not enough proactive thinking.
As a tax strategist, Ethan specializes in helping clients understand why their money decisions matter — not just how to report them. His approach blends technical expertise with clear communication and practical judgment, helping clients move from uncertainty to confidence.
Ethan works closely with clients year-round, guiding entity structure, compensation strategy, timing decisions, and long-term planning. He believes tax strategy should feel empowering, not intimidating — and that the best advice holds up both in real life and on paper.
Outside of work, Ethan is a father, musician, and lifelong learner with a deep interest in economics, behavioral decision-making, and building systems that actually work.

Michele is the engine behind clean, accurate, and defensible execution.
As Staff Accountant, she plays a critical role in translating strategy into precise compliance. Michele is detail-oriented, thoughtful, and relentless about accuracy - the kind of professional you want behind the scenes when things matter.
She works closely with Ethan to ensure that bookkeeping, filings, and supporting documentation reflect both technical excellence and strategic intent. Clients may not always see her work directly, but they benefit from it constantly.
